Ten years ago, silver traded at significantly lower levels than today.
Since then, it has gained several tens of percent, reaching historic highs around 2025 - 2026.
Not sudden.
Structural.
I watched silver change status.
It is no longer only worn. It is essential. Electronics, solar energy, medical tools, batteries. Demand keeps rising. Supply does not. Silver is rarely mined alone. Extraction is slow, constrained, dependent.
Add inflation, fragile currencies, global tension.
Value tightens.
Silver now stands between two worlds:
precious metal and industrial necessity.
That tension gives it weight.
WHY THIS IS MATTERS ? When value rises, behavior shifts.
- Constraint sharpens design. Excess disappears. Each gram counts. Each line must be justified.
- Fast fashion weakens. Systems built on abundance and speed begin to crack. Handcrafted work follows another logic. Slower. More precise. It holds.
- Choice slows down. I no longer choose jewelry impulsively. I choose pieces to live with. To wear often. To keep close.
- Silver reclaims its place. It was never meant to be trivial. Price does not redefine its meaning. It reveals it.
- What already exists gains presence. Well-made silver does not age out. As value rises, it becomes companion, then heirloom.
Silver did not change. Our relationship to it did.
